What is Coco Pixies?Coco Pixies is a collection of original illustrated pixie characters and apparel, gifts and accessories they live on created to celebrate Black girls. Each pixie is hand-drawn, has her own name, her own signature color, and her own crown of natural hair: afro puffs, coils, curls, twists, and locs. Products include backpacks, bags, clutches, blankets, pillows, puzzles, notebooks, water bottles, shirts and hoodies with more to come.
We didn’t add diversity to an old story. We started a new one.
What ages are Coco Pixies products for?Our products are designed primarily for girls with kids sizes in shirts and hoodies. That said, most of the collection, water bottles, tote bags, clutches, blankets, pillows, notebooks works beautifully for teens and adults, and we offer adult sizing in apparel. Plenty of our customers buy for themselves.
Do you have Coco Pixies products for adults?Yes. Shirts and hoodies come in both kids and adult sizes, and our bags, clutches, water bottles, blankets, pillows, and notebooks aren’t age-specific at all. Grown women buy Coco Pixies for themselves regularly, and we love that.
Who created Coco Pixies?Coco Pixies was created by Sheena, an artist and illustrator based in Southern California. Every pixie drawn by hand, no stock art, no licensed characters, no templates. She started the collection because the little girls in her life kept reaching for fairy books, fairy toys, and fairy backpacks and never finding one who looked like them.
What is your return policy?If your item arrives defective or damaged, email sheena@cocopixies.com within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the issue and your order number. We’ll refund you or send a replacement of your choice.
You don’t need to ship anything back.
Because every Coco Pixies item is printed just for you after you order, we’re not able to accept returns for change of mind, wrong size, or different pixie. Please check sizing before ordering and reach out if you’d like help choosing.
What are items made after I order?Every Coco Pixies item is made after you order it. That’s a little slower than a warehouse, but that means nothing sits in inventory, nothing gets thrown away, and every piece is made specifically for the girl it’s going to.
How many Coco Pixies are there?There are currently 21 Coco Pixies, which we believe makes this the largest collection of Black girl pixie characters anywhere. And we are still growing adding new pixies to the collection throughout the year. Each one has her own name, her own color, and her own personality. How much does shipping cost?Shipping is free. Every Coco Pixies order ships free, no minimum, no threshold, no code required.
