Emily Extraordinary is an original hand-drawn Black girl pixie from Coco Pixies who uses a wheelchair. Known for her sweet spirit and bright smile, Emily Extraordinary has a special way of making every room feel happier simply by being herself.

Her wheelchair is part of how she moves through the world, while her kindness, confidence, and open-hearted personality make her truly unforgettable.

WHAT INSPIRED EMILY EXTRAORDINARY?

Emily Extraordinary was inspired by Coco Pixies creator Sheena Monique’s cousin Emily, whose gently heart and natural happiness can brighten an entire room.

Her character celebrates that same beautiful spirit while giving Black girls who use wheelchairs a magical character they can recognize, admire, and see at the center of her own story.

Emily Extraordinary uses a wheelchair to move through her world. It supports her mobility as she explores, spends time with friends, and joins every Coco Pixie adventure.

With her magnificent blue wings spread behind her, Emily shows that wheelchairs, mobility aids, and magical character designs belong together.
